Inspiration for this artwork:
I love painting with greens and recently I came across an emerald gemstone, as the light hit the stone the colours of green were incredible. 
I was so inspired to paint a piece around this emerald stone. 
Learning that it’s an ancient symbol of wealth, power and success, with It’s green colour also representing the earth element, and known to attract positive energy, I felt it to be a wonderful colour and symbol to hang in a home or office.
I chose to call this artwork Cleopatra mines as no one loved emeralds more than Cleopatra.
